KO-1 - combat knife, one of the first knives that got the worldwide famed label of the Kizlyar plant in Dagestan. Knife popularity grew rapidly – due to significant help of the first military campaign in Chechnya. Since then, the knife enjoys high popularity mainly in the infantry units of the Russian army.
The knife was originally developed for Special Purpose Units operating in Chechnya. Form – strict kindzhal.
