Knife Samsonov – Самсонов - traditional form of Russian hunting knife, which roots date back to the 19th century. The knife was brought to perfection by the Russian master Jegor Samson, who supplied knives to the Emperor's court and after whom this type of knife got its name.
Knife Samsonov is a clear aristocratic knife. The knife was traditionally used by the highest nobility, including Russian tsars.
